Today I had a revelation

Changed my focus of veneration

Attention from callous absence

Focus someone in imagination

Brought in life for certain reason

Crossing paths in different seasons

A tacit pact for no treason

A friend found loyal like a deacon

Find painful, unjust separation

Tormenting memories, no cessation

Highs and lows of emotional passion

Friendship found in new devotion
